Seemorgh, an all-Knowing, all-Wise mythical
bird is an iconic figure in “Book of Kings”, one of the world’s longest epic
poems created by the famous Persian poet “Ferdowsi” that has had different and
extraordinary effects on myth, epic, philosophy, mysticism and human culture in
general. In ancient Greece, the bird was also mentioned as a symbol of wisdom
and referred to as Phoenix.
It is believed that the bird is reborn from
its ashes after death as a symbol of renewal and resurrection. The precious
design of Simorgh is reminiscent of the exciting ancient legends of the Iranian
mythology.
